| Skywagon
E-mail List |
| Purpose: |
A simple
"Free for all" discussion area to ask questions and give
comments. Attachments are not permitted - use the Forum for any
attachment. A one line "subscription" request is required.
This list is quite active and you should expect to receive an average
of 10 e-mails each day, depending on the topic.
See
"Communications" button at left for further details, including
how to subscribe, unsubscribe, setting your e-mail to "Plain
Text Only", etc.

- once you subscribe, you will receive an automated e-mail reply
welcoming you, and giving a list of commands that you may send to
change options, unsubscribe, etc. Messages are posted to one address,
and a different e-mail address is used to send these commands to
a "robot". If the robot receives something it does not
understand, you will still receive a reply.
This
system is e-mail based, thus your "usual" e-mail system
is used to send and receive messages.

Membership
Requirements: |
None.
Anyone can subscribe. |
Note that
three areas have differing access controls, based on a) whether it is
e-mail based vs. website based, and b) security requirements based on
club membership. This means that you will likely have a combination of
three different "user identifiers" and their corresponding passwords.
All of the
areas have the ability to use "cookies" to remember the applicable
ID and password for each area. Of course this can be helpful, but if you
use this feature, you should record your IDs and Passwords in a secure
place in case your computer "forgets", dies, or you are using
another computer.
If you are
having trouble accessing something, contact our webmaster, Rob Duncan.
You can use the "Contact Us" button on the left. However you
should be as detailed as possible with your initial request for help.
Give the "page title" as seen at the top of each web page (Example:
This page title is "Login FAQ" - do you see exactly that, at
the top?), and EXACTLY what you entered in what box. Your E-mail address
or User ID, and any passwords will not be given out, and these are required
to duplicate your problem and thus provide you the quickest assistance.
