A185E Cowl Flap Control Lever Bracket
Author Last Post
I'm completely aware of owner manufactured parts. Made them before, but this one may be a little more complicated to replicate. Was hoping to just buy the part.

If you can't easily find a replacement, take the original to a metal shop and have one made.  Owners are allowed some leeway in doing this legally.

My A185E has a panel mounted cowl flap lever. The last tab that keeps the cowl flaps closed all the way broke off. I'm looking for a source of either a new or used bracket that sits behind the panel. The illustrated parts break down doesn't list a part number. See attachment. I've tried BAS Aircraft Parts, Texas Aircraft Salvage and Skywagon City. Anyone know of any other places to check or if the old one can be repaired?
