That is not correct. ALL of the user information was migrated from the Old Site to the New Site. I personally verified it during the migration and after the migration was done. If the Member’s email, phone, and address information was correct and up to date it was migrated over to the new site.
Geoffrey: Could you please give a summary of the Member information migration process that was used when we went from the old site to the new site.

I understand that people may not want to share info (and I respect that). I think with the change of the site, though, most people probably did not realize that they needed to repopulate this info, as it seems the default is not to show any info.
I know after the change, I had togo in and add more info and re-publish it with my preferences.
Nope. You are not missing anything. We are trying to clean that up by forcing new members to provide more information. But please also note that if a member does not want their contact information displayed in the Member Directory that it will not be displayed at the members request.

But it looks like some members have no email, no phone, and no snail mail when you search in the directory.
Only thing displayed is name + city/state? Am I missing something?
Go to the Member Resources
Select Membership Directory
Select Last Name
Search for member’s last name.
If the member does not have an email address or phone number you can send them a snail mail.
To send out a message on the forums you have to subscribe to the forum but if the person you want to communicate with is not a member of the forum and does not participate in it they will not see your message.
That is why it is important for members to keep their Member Profile up to date.

So is there a function whereby we can send a message to a user? (aka PM function). If the users profile does not have an email address associated with it, how can it be done without a broadcast on the forums?
